Meet the Staff of the AFRL Regional Network - Midwest 

Dr. Stacy Manni holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Kent State University and has extensive experience in coordinating technological, scientific, and research-related activities; assessing and capitalizing on technological opportunities; steering program functions and programmatics; and managing high-profile budgets and contracts. She previously served as a Senior Physical Scientist and International Program Officer for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) at the Southern Office of Aerospace Research and Development (SOARD) in Santiago, Chile. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Air Force Exemplary Civilian Service Award—her second in over 12 years with the Air Force. Dr. Manni is also an Army Combat Veteran.

Amanda Ridge manages membership relations, network growth, budget management, expenditures, and forecasting. She brings a background in supervising large engagement teams, managing multiple complex projects with different needs, overseeing high-profile budgets and contracts, and has deep expertise in accounting, compliance, and audit. Previously, she was a Senior Consultant for Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles, CA. Amanda holds an MBA from Goldey-Beacom College.

Amanda Bragg specializes in program management, federal grants management, technology transfer, and community portal moderation. She brings extensive experience in managing large, complex teams across public, private, and non-profit sectors. Her expertise includes budget preparation and management for grants and operating funds, regulatory compliance, and policy and procedure development. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Cody Clem is our Digital Content Specialist, working closely with AFRL Midwest Network awardees on video deliverables, network promo materials, and website management. With years of experience as a freelance videographer, he has collaborated with clients such as Purdue's College of Science and various local businesses in the Greater Lafayette region. Cody is currently pursuing an online degree in Communications.

Liz Homrig coordinates and plans events for the AFRL Regional Network-Midwest. She brings experience as the Assistant Director of Championships and Alliances for the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and as the Director of Championship Operations for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NCJAA). Liz holds a Master of Public Affairs in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Dr. Lindsey Macdonald supports the AFRL Regional Network - Midwest by compiling, writing, and editing reports; creating content for news articles and promotional materials; and helping develop social media strategy. She also serves as the National Security Writer for the Purdue Office of Research Communications and the Purdue Applied Research Institute, while leading reporting and communication efforts for the Purdue Energetics Research Center (PERC). She holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from Purdue University.
